Stickybeaks is a cafe located within the Ivy Watson playground at Kings Park. I have visited on numerous occasions with my son (who loves the playground) for playdates. Stickbeaks is open everyday and serves breakfast, lunch and sweet things. It’s a very casual, kiosk style, counter service cafe which is very child friendly. They have a lot of outdoor seating (and highchairs) some undercover and on weekends it can become very busy with families and children’s birthday parties.
On this recent visit I was catching up with a friend after we had chased our little ones around toddler gym (the things mums do!). I chose to have the Chocolate Chip Muffin and a Flat White. The muffin was large and filling but the coffee was bitter and watery.
My friend had a Cappuccino and an Apple and Cinnamon Muffin which she enjoyed.
On one visit mid afternoon I found the cafe to be closed at 3:30pmĀ although the Kings Park website states it’s open until 5pm. So mums and dads, grab your kids and head to Stickbeaks for a special treat.
