Daisies of Cottesloe has been a stalwart institution for as long as I can remember, bustling with locals and their beloved four-legged friends. But today it’s a sea of police officers and construction workers from nearby building sites. Not to be deterred we stumble inside the cluttered, worn looking deli and place our order for coffees and some of their legendary muffins. It’s all served in takeaway cups and paper bags. Flat White Coffees $4.20 are strong and hot but lacking that creamy texture of a flat white. The Babycino at $3.20 is ridiculously overpriced and came with just 1 measly marshmallow. The Chocolate and Chocolate Caramel Muffins $4.50 were the only saviour. Great texture, brimming with chocolate and caramel. Such a disappointment, I wont be back.
