So we’ve been back in London for only a day and I’m already keen for a decent coffee. I drag everyone over to Milk Bar in Soho after eating lunch nearby. (I was a big fan of Flat White its sister cafe a few streets away.) We enter to a very warm welcome and our son gets a lot of attention so he’s happy. We note it’s busy inside, great music is playing but it maintains a relaxed vibe. We contemplate sitting outside on one of the long benches but we take a just-available table inside in the back corner along the bench with lots of comfy cushions.
It doesn’t take too long for our order of Flat Whites, a cappuccino and a Babycino to arrive. No-one wants to wait for me to take a photo of their drink! My Flat White was strong yet still smooth and creamy. We all enjoyed our caffeine hit and were perked up ready to hit the shops that afternoon.
Milk Bar is a great place to grab a decent coffee in London which you can enjoy on its own or with something from their small range of sweet and savoury treats.
