Sidney Loves Audrey is a quaint whimsical cafe and shop that will immediately make you feel welcome and relaxed the minute you step in the door. It’s named after the owners 2 dogs and all the food is baked fresh on the premises. My friend and I had come for a coffee and chat and were immediately hit with the fresh baked smell of brownies once we’d walked through the door. We found some comfy armchairs to sit in and then places our order at the counter.

I ordered a Flat White and some of the freshly baked Chocolate Brownies. The coffee was served with a mini gingerbread man shaped biscuit which is quite unique. The brownie was still warm and fudgy and incredibly chocolately. It was served with double cream – yay, real cream, so much better.

My friend also ordered a Flat White and Orange Syrup Cake. The cake was moist and was had a sweet orange tang to it. It was also served with double cream.

After we’d finished our coffees and sweet treat we wandered around the cafe shop browsing the many handmade and vintage themed items for sale and some of the Christmas gifts in stock too. As it was so cosy inside we decided to order more coffees and linger a little longer.

Sidney Loves Audrey is open Tuesday to Saturday for cakes and drinks. I must admit parking wasn’t the easiest but being a weekend we made good use of the office car bays across the road. Sidney Loves Audrey is the perfect place to catch up with a friend

  1. Great little shop this one. Theres another one just up the road on Fitzgerald Street, Pimlott and Strand, they serve great homemade cakes as well

  2. Thanks for the review. Just to let you know that parking is available on the street, directly outside the front door. This is available at all times when the shop is open (only not during clear way times). There is also ample street parking on other close-by streets.
