In our house we try to plan a vegetarian meal each week. Sometimes we tend to cook the same thing but I came across this recipe in my ‘Vege Main Meals’ Women’s Weekly cookbooks and as I hadn’t made it for a while, decided this was going to be our vegetarian dish this week.
It is very easy to make but the only problem I found was trying to buy the extra-large pasta shells. In the end I bought a pack of large shells, not as small as the supermarket chain ones but still not quite as big as needed. It made the spooning a little more difficult but much more interesting than cannelloni.
It tasted as good as it looked but the recipe picture online looked very washed out compared to the cookbook and mine above. I checked the ingredient list was the same so I am unsure as to why this is. Anyway you can find the recipe online here and it also offers a meat option for those of you who cannot do without your meat!
